While the new iPad is first and foremost a tablet computer, it's also the web browser, camera and video camera you can conveniently carry with you. The 10 hour battery life means you can use it all day with a full battery charge. The iPad is now available in WiFi only or WiFi plus 4G Data on AT&T, and Verizon. 4G may not work in some countries because of differences in the frequency bands used by foreign carriers.

2,048 x 1,536 pixel, 9.7-inch retina display panel on the new iPad.

The iPad contains a digital compass, accelerometers, ambient light sensor and gyroscope so the tablet always knows its orientation and attitude which makes for some interesting application capabilities.

With the free LogMeIn and other apps, you can remotely log into and control your desktop or laptop computer.

With iCloud, Dropbox, Box, Evernote and more to come - Microsoft Skydrive and Google Drive, there are many ways to save and share information using the "Cloud".
